Here’s a little bit about Allan!
Allan is a music teacher and dance instructor in the Columbia River Gorge. He has over twenty years of musical experience. Allan has participated in 7 bands, including the math rock band, Vaneta, and a jazz band during his time at UC Berkeley as well as the university chorus. Currently, he is the primary songwriter, lead vocalist, and keyboardist of the local, Latin, jazz-funk band: Balladiers.
In his own words, Allan believes that music and songwriting have a remarkable ability to bring people together, in addition they act as a tool for self discovery and growth. He believes that anyone can be a musician and dancer, because it’s about having fun and connecting with people, and that pursuing better technique just grants one a greater ability to do so in more circumstances.
Allan is capable of giving beginning lessons in live-looping, drumming, hand drumming, trombone, ukulele, and accordion, but specializes in teaching the following disciplines:

Voice (beg-int)
Recording/Mixing (beg-adv)
At Windmill it is our belief that anyone should have access to the process of turning the wish to play music into a reality, so classes are available on a sliding scale.
30 minute lesson $50-70
10 class pack $450
Classes are offered in a studio at:
115 Ash Street, Bingen,Washington.
Lessons are available to students at any age as long as they have the desire to learn how to play music.
